April is for Arts: Every April. The month of April is all about the arts around Lake Norman. With many creative influences in the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville, April is the month when culture and art are celebrated.

Charlotte Dragon Boat Race and Asian Festival: Every May. At Ramsey Creek Park in Cornelius. The festival celebrates Asian cultures, diversity, ethnicity, roots and history. Explore the cultural heritage showcase, retail vendors, live music, dance performances, traditional meals, and exciting dragon boat races.
